Refund Policy
Effective Date: May 31, 2026
We want you to feel that what you bought from us was worth what you paid. If something falls short of that, we would rather refund you than keep your money. This page explains how that works.
1. What's Eligible for a Refund
- The book (digital or print), purchased directly through our website, Gumroad, or another retail platform we operate.
- The Fix Companion app — Full Access one-time unlock, purchased through Stripe checkout on our website.
- Bundles that include any of the above.
2. The 30-Day Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. After 30 days, we are unable to issue refunds, though we are still happy to hear from you if something isn't working — we may be able to help in another way.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email us at hello@thefixbrand.com with:
- The email address you used at checkout.
- The approximate date of purchase.
- A brief note about what didn't work for you. (You don't have to justify yourself — we just like to know so the book and app can get better.)
You do not need to provide a reason that meets any standard. "It wasn't for me" is enough.
4. How Refunds Are Processed
Once we receive your request:
- We process the refund within 3 business days.
- The refund is issued to the original payment method through Stripe (or the original retailer, if you purchased elsewhere).
- It typically takes 5–10 additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
5. After a Refund
Once your refund is processed, your access to the refunded product ends. If you refund the app's Full Access unlock, the app will revert to the free tier (the AWARE tool, the patterns quiz, Week 1 of the 30-Day Reset, the first three reframes, the first five affirmation cards). Your journal entries and personal data remain yours.
6. Print Books
For physical books shipped to you, refunds cover the price of the book. You are not required to return the physical book to receive a refund — please keep it, give it to someone, or pass it along. We would rather the book stay in the world than make you pay for return shipping.
7. Purchases Made on Third-Party Platforms
If you purchased the book through Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, or another retailer, refunds are handled by that platform under their policies. We are unable to refund purchases we did not directly receive, but we are happy to help you navigate the process — just email us.
8. Chargebacks
If you are unhappy with a purchase, please write to us first. We will almost certainly resolve it faster than your bank can. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us makes the process harder for both of us and may delay any refund you are owed.
